Terms & Conditions
Placing your non-refundable deposit acts as an agreement to these terms and conditions. “Baby Wedding Carriages” shall mean Baby Wedding Carriages Ltd and “The Clients” shall be those persons defined as bride and/or groom or persons acting on behalf of the bride and/or groom.
It is mutually agreed that the following terms of agreement form an integral part of this contract and that no variation or modification of this contract shall be effective unless agreed by both parties in writing. This contract for Baby Wedding Carriages’ hire service is effective from the date the deposit is made. By making a booking and paying the deposit amount(s) Clients confirm their acceptance of these hire terms and conditions without reservation.
Booking Fee / Deposit Payments
A non-refundable booking fee / deposit of £50 per baby wedding carriage rented as well as full acceptance of the terms and conditions as displayed on our website secures the time and services of Baby Wedding Carriages and is non-refundable or transferable in the event of cancellation.
The balance can be settled in full. Otherwise a deposit is payable within 7 days of placing the booking and the full balance due two weeks prior to the actual wedding date. The deposit / booking fee will be deducted from the cost of the Client’s final balance.
Payment in full of the remaining balance will be due two weeks before the wedding date. Weddings that are postponed to a later date will retain the fee as long as Baby Wedding Carriages is able to reschedule for the new date.
Baby Wedding Carriages is a hire service and the purchase of the Baby Wedding Carriage prior to, during or after the hire term is not an option.
The Client may cancel this contract at any time by giving written notice to Baby Wedding Carriages at the following address: Baby Wedding Carriages, 379 Stockport Road, Timperley Village, Cheshire, WA157UR. Cancellations prior to two (2) weeks before the wedding will not be required to settle the full balance but will lose their non-refundable deposit. Cancellations occurring less than two (2) weeks prior to the wedding will result in the payment in full becoming due.
Baby Wedding Carriages Obligations
Baby Wedding Carriages shall use reasonable efforts to deliver the carriage(s) to the agreed delivery location(s) on the date specified by the Client. Baby Wedding Carriages is not held responsible to delays or missed deliveries occurring due to circumstances out of our control. If there is a delay in delivery due to non-performance by Baby Wedding Carriages, the Client may cancel the Contract.
All carriages are cleaned and safety checked prior to the wedding date by Baby Wedding Carriages. Baby Wedding Carriages takes the health and safety of your children very seriously. We supply an age and developmental appropriate seating support for your baby / toddler alongside a crotch post and safety belt. These must be in use at all times at all times whilst in the carriage– use non-toxic paint and use 100% all-natural antibacterial cleaning products to clean the carriages and furnishings.
The Client’s Obligations
Baby Wedding Carriages are to be used exclusively for babies, infants and small children who are placed in the carriage with the expressed permission of the Client. The Baby Wedding Carriage is to be used solely as a vehicle to pull a baby, toddler or infant down the aisle and as a prop for photographs.
Babies, infants and small children must be supervised at all times when in or using the Baby Wedding Carriage.
Babies, infants and small children should be prevented from putting any soft furnishings, cushions, flowers and any additional items used to dress the Baby Wedding Carriage in their mouth.
Older children and adults are expressly forbidden from standing or sitting in the Baby Wedding Carriage.
Baby Wedding Carriages’ appreciates and accepts that infants might need to be fed whilst in the carriage and accepts reasonable wear and tear will occur on the carriage and its furnishings. The Client is held responsible for any damage cause to the interior or exterior of the carriage and unreasonable wear and tear, as deemed by Baby Wedding Carriages. The Client will be invoiced accordingly for any repairs, repainting or replacements to make good and restore the carriage to its pre-hire condition. In the event that a carriage is lost or stolen while in the care of the customer, the Client will be invoiced the full retail value for the replacement of the carriage.
Delivery and Collection
The standard hire period is 5 days; from the time the courier drops the carriage at the collection address to the time the courier collects the carriage from the collection address or a predetermined destination. If you require additional time this can be arranged but could be liable to a charge.
Baby Wedding Carriages always aims to have the Baby Wedding Carriage at the predetermined delivery address 1-2 days prior to the wedding.
Baby Wedding Carriages will collect the Baby Wedding Carriage from the predetermined colleciton address the next working day after the wedding.
Limitation of Liability
In the unlikely event of total or part equipment failure, delayed shipment, delivery failure, accident or other unforeseen circumstances beyond the Baby Wedding Carriages’ control, Baby Wedding Carriages’ liability shall be limited to a full refund of all moneys paid and Baby Wedding Carriages shall not be responsible for other consequential damages, emotional or otherwise.
Placing babies, infants and young children into the Baby Wedding Carriages is done at the expressed permission of the Client and must be under adult supervision for the whole time they are in the Baby Wedding Carriage.
Baby Wedding Carriages cannot be held responsible for any personal accidents during the hire period.
All Debit or Credit Card information is held on file until the return and inspection of the Baby Wedding Carriage by Baby Wedding Carriages. All personal information is retained by Baby Wedding Carriages for its own records and will not be distributed to any third parties.
